The Dorothy Sharp Project are Bruce Sharp and Dorothy Jane Carr

They propose an artistic vision that challenges traditional aesthetic values yet  also continues  the conception that the embodied experience of art has the capacity to  re-orientate those actively engaged.

Their particular approach to art making has an ethical dimension in seeking to work against those norms allied to a particular toxic self- interest that refuses to acknowledge the inter dependence of living beings. While the project may be allied to social activism it aims to provide experiences that are valued on artistic terms.

The Dorothy Sharp Project builds upon the artists’ previous collaborations as part of the artists’ collective quiet
